Fast shipping. Economical way to get stereo line level output from Ipod Nano. July 27, 2010 Rick Fast shipping. It works. Economical way to get stereo line level output from Ipod Nano. It was difficult to find so I thank Cables To Go.
Does not work with iPod Nano 5G July 22, 2010 Alan I know it's been stated before, but I just wanted to add to the growing list of complaints about this product not actually being adaptable to all iPods. I ordered a 5th generation Nano hoping to play it through my home stereo system, only to find sound coming out of the tiny built in speaker. I searched in vain for an internal setting that would fix the problem, but after a brief online search I discovered that others were had this problem too. Next time I'll make sure to read the reviews *before* purchasing...
Dock Connector Cable for iPod July 15, 2010 Joseph Cerrato (Wheatley Heights, N.Y. United States) I used the "Cables to Go" to connect my classic ipod to my home stereo. I am very pleased with the resulting sound and at $11.99 it is an absolute bargain. There is no need to buy an expensive ipod specific speaker (unless you want portability) when you can use your home stereo. At first I was disappointed as I connected the ipod to the stereo's phonograph inputs. This led to terrible sound reproduction (perhaps due to a lack of a ground); however when I connected the ipod to the tape monitor inputs it led to high quality sound. I highly recommend this product and plan to buy a 2nd set to use for my stereo in my family room.
Listen to this... July 8, 2010 Sammy N. Mastroianni Quality is a good bit better when hooking your Ipod up to a speaker setup then if you were to use an auxiliary cable hookup, like I was using for years on end. This is a good product and not very expensive and if you are going to listen to your music you should at least listen to it in the best sound quality as possible.
Does Not Work with 5th Generation iPod Nano June 14, 2010 W. Metz (Northern California, USA) Despite claims to the contrary on the packaging and even in the technical details here on Amazon, this cable DOES NOT work with the 5th generation iPod Nano.
