1 out of 5 stars Stopped working   May 24, 2010
audiophile das good (Franklin, NJ USA)
What can I say, I have used this player for 13 months and today it stopped working, no longer will it power on, it's a shame because I paid 99 dollars for this player and now I have just thrown it to garbage, no longer will I buy any product from iAudio

5 out of 5 stars Best Flash based MP3 player back in the day   December 31, 2009
hac500 (North Hollywood, CA United States)
All you could ask for--played every format, FM tuner, mic recorder, solid battery life, easy connectivity/use for transferring files, design of player easy to use and durable(knocked around a lot over it's 4 year life, including getting wet and suffering some higher temps) good display and the most simple/easiest to use GUI I've seen on an mp3 player yet. Came with a protective case and some accessories--a great manual. Change of buds after awhile was my only issue all this time.

I recently had to upgrade to a Sansa Clip player, just b/c the 1GB storage on my old iaudio u2 was getting too annoying. But, I honestly had no other reason to upgrade, this little cowon is really solid, through and through.

However, I'll still use it as a back/up player (like keeping it on the car, for mp3 car tunes).

If cowon had stayed in this market as a competitor to Sansa, I would definitely had gone for a cowon---however I think cowon changed ownership and they moved on to bigger, more expensive players, leaving Sansa as the main choice for great quality, all-inclusive, cheap flash mp3 players.

5 out of 5 stars a lot to like!   June 3, 2008
Jim J. Allen (phoenix)
I purchased this mp3 player & a Creative Muvo TX about the same time. After a few weeks w/both I gave the Creative to a friend. So hopefully this one lasts.
Great features and sound. A pretty nice little mp3 player. The earbuds aren't bad but for me won't stay put. There are some pretty good ones that do though. (Griffen, Senheisers & some of the Sony's) Definitely a good buy though.

5 out of 5 stars Cheap and Easy   January 23, 2008
Nicolas Badre (Lexington, KY USA)
This mp3 player is a great value and is very simple to use (drag and drop allows me to fill it up in the same it takes someone to open iTunes).
Furthermore, it has great sound, FM radio (always great when you have listened to all your songs a million times), and microphone (only use it a couple of times to make pranks on friends and it was great).
I have an iRiver Clix 2 now, it is better if you are looking for something with a larger capacity and the same great audio quality (especially compared to the ipods.

4 out of 5 stars Better than iPods   January 18, 2008
Dennis Twining (Corona, CA United States)
We love this little thing. I believe it is better suited for our needs without the big cost of an iPod. This storages enough music and other things that I am very pleased we went with the iAudio instead of the other name brands. We especially like how small and compact it is, we take it everywhere we go.
