nice product July 25, 2010 M. Gifford (Ohio) I bought this just for downloading books, it was listed as a compatible device with both overdrive media and audible, the other reviews were good, and the price was right. The only problem I've had is the book tracks shuffle, and I don't know how to put them back into order, but to be honest I haven't tried real hard. Also, the book I downloaded from audible won't play, but I think that's an audible problem, I couldn't get the first one I downloaded to play on my computer. The player is just the right size, and looks good, but I have a little trouble reading the buttons. Definitely get different earbuds, I can't keep the big clunky kind that came with it in my ears. The battery life seems good, I listened for 8-9 hours over 2 days and it still had a charge. Overall it's a good product at a good price.
Great little mp3 player July 21, 2010 K. Graham (Quitman, TX United States) I have had this for a few weeks and so far I really like it. It is what is is, mine is the 4gb so it doesn't hold everything, but I didn't expect it to. I did have the FM tuner freeze it up once, I restarted it and have had no further problem. It is not my first Creative product, I have had several and I have really liked them.
Awesome device for audiobooks July 16, 2010 Paula Burr 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought one of these around 6 months ago, figuring the price was right and I would give it a try. It was stolen from my car after I used it for a couple of months, and I could buy another one fast enough! I use it for downloadable audiobooks, and it is super easy to use. The menu is easy to navigate on the go, and I have no problems syncing with my computer. The battery has plenty of life to get through the average novel, and it holds a charge for a long time. 4 GB doesn't seem like much, but will hold quite a few books. I also like the fact that the USB cable is so short, because I carry it back and forth to work with me and it doesn't get tangled up everywhere.
Wonderful! Just what I expected and wanted! July 16, 2010 shopperoftimes My 4GB Mozaic arrived today. After a quick charging,I uploaded music with no problems at all and began use. I haven't had to read the instruction manual but one time to see how to tell if the unit was fully charged. It's perfect for me and a wonderful step up from the 1GB Zen Stone I previously owned. My older mp3 has fallen apart from drops and falls,it has even been stepped on and it still plays after years of continual use and abuse. If you are looking for a better price and product than an ipod, Creative Zen products are what you want! The only small and minor drawbacks I've noticed so far is that the navigational buttons are kind of hard to see because they are black and so is the player. The second small thing is the speaker volume,it's not very loud even if turned to max. Not a big deal to me and it can be easily fixed if you buy the speaker connect system. Yes, the screen does have a maybe 3 to 4 second delay but nothing major. Other than that, the radio plays wonderfully and it picks up stations crystal clearly that my car can't. If you're looking for a mp3 player that plays music, videos, stores pictures and voice recordings along with has the radio and don't want to shell out $100 bucks, this is the perfect player and I'm sure it will outlast an ipod!
great for music and recording July 12, 2010 carlitos 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
very good sound, easy-to-use panel..... i was surprised with the quality of sound after recorded an simphonic orchestra, i never think about how a tiny thing can record with this quality!!!! i wish i can upload the record here!!!!. I think, for the utilities, (and price!) this is a better choice than ipod!!!!!!
