2 times returning this because signal will not go through (?) with my sony s545. Not sure what deal is. Anyone else had this problem??

I bought this "Advanced Car Mount and FM Transmitter for Creative Zen" product for my wife and found it very good: sturdy construction, very easy to connect to car radio, good sound. For my G1 Android phone I currently use Motorola MOTOROKR T505 bluetooth/fm transmitter, which produces significantly more noise (that's probably because Motorola uses Bluetooth, while this FM transmitter connects directly to your device through 3.5 earphone connector). So, I'm thinking about buying earphone USB to 3.5 mm adapter to be able to use Advanced Car Mount and FM Transmitter with my phone instead of Motorola device.
The only thing which I'd like to improve is a player/phone grip. It needs better, probably softer and thicker pads for better grip. No, it's already pretty good, but it may easily be improved. I'd recommend its manufacturer to take a look at iGrip Universal Fit Flexible Mount at [...]. It grips much better.
