Very happy with this product. For $79 it does everything I need it to do. Range is very good and display is easy to read and navigate.

After much study and reading reviews, I purchased this dock for our home system. The dock arrived DOA. I e-mailed the Amazon re-seller and received no response. I contacted the manufacturer. They wanted me to go back to the seller for a replacement because they no longer make this dock. When they sensed my frustration at the run-around, they agreed to send me a similar product as a replacement. It took 3 weeks, but I finally have a dock that works.

I purchased a similar item last year for 4 times the cost of this one (which we subsequently "blew up." The menu availability on the remote's screen is not quite as good as our prior model, but for the price, I'll gladly take it! I am using it on a 94' houseboat and so far the remote has reached in every spot on the boat (inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs --- the iPod sits in the living room entertainment center, and the speakers are all over the boat.) I've always been a big fan of refurbished products....the kinks have been worked out, and the price is always right!

This worked perfectly right out of the box. We can sit on our patio and control the music from this which is located inside our house. The remote is working through 2 walls! As a previous reviewer stated about not being able to replace the batteries in the remote...YOU DO NOT NEED BATTERIES! The remote charges on the docking station right behind where the ipod is placed...the ipod charges as well! Great product...great price!

I bought this for my Ipod Touch so I can connect it to my receiver and play it out loud. No matter what I do, it sounds terrible. The instruction book says to find the right balance between the volume of the Ipod and the volume of the receiver to get the right sound. I have spent WAY too much time trying to get this right and that include adjusting the EQ settings too. It just sounds terrible. So I put my DLO Homedock back on my receiver for my Ipod Video 5th generation and I am back in business again. Looks like I wont get rid of my 5th gen Ipod after all. So since it took me too long to hook this unit up and then try to get it to sound good I cant return it. I am going to use it as a dock for my Ipod Touch to my PC. Of course, I had to buy the proper cable to do this as it is not included in the package.
I am disappointed in this dock only because the previous version for the previous version Ipod sounds great. Maybe it will work for you.
